The Center for Family Development is a non-profit organization with a wish to give families a professional and research-based hand to enhance family welfare and the establishment of good and healthy interpersonal relations.
The center offers PREP-courses for couples, where the starting point is preventive training rather than therapy, parenting courses for divorcees, conversations and therapy, child groups and further training for professionals.

The starting point is the understanding that many people get help much too late when they have experienced break-ups and crises in their relations with others, and the center’s philosophy is that prevention is better than treatment when it comes to the important relations in a person’s life.

Ole Kirk’s Foundation has made grants to the Center for Family Development several times.
