Volunteers, Study and Travel Grants

Today, the Danish labor market is very internationally oriented and looks for people with international experience and education. The Foundation’s staff has at its disposal a fixed amount which is apportioned to study travels for groups of students, primarily from institutions of higher education.

The Foundation wishes to encourage and motivate young people who wish to travel as volunteers – and many young people want to contribute to making the world a better place to live. Therefore, they travel into the world as volunteers on humanitarian and social projects around the world. Every year, the Foundation makes many smaller travel grants to young people via various organizations such as for instance IMPACT.

The requirement is that the project must include at least six months as a volunteer and that the applicant must contribute to making a difference to poor and exposed people somewhere in the world.
